I am using Axis 1.1 and I am finding that BeanSerializer is serializing transients properties. I have read some old postings in this list that mention that BeanSerializer should work like Java serialization. If that is the case, BeanSerializer should be ignoring transient properties even if they have public setters and getters because the definition of transient is that it does not get serialized.
