I am also working on something like that. I built a small prototype. I was 
trying to see the transfer time by using TCPMon. But when I use TCPMon, my 
connection to the server gets reseted and I get AxisFaultException. Is there 
a better way to measure the performance in this scenerio?

I have some Axis-Webservices which deliver binary files via attachments.
After sending the attachment, I have to delete this (temporary) attachment.
What is the best way to do this ?
How can I be sure that my client has received the attachment ?
