My vision is pretty simple. I would like to take my wsdl and generate a web application that will call the service. For each method in the service I would have a single web page with a set of fields representing the request data. When the user presses submit, the web service is called and the response is returned and displayed in another (or the same) HTML page.
I've seen two good examples of this so far: http://www.soapclient.com/SoapTest.html and http://portal.extreme.indiana.edu:8356/xydra/index.html Neither is exactly what I'm looking for, but they are both pretty cool. -----Original Message----- From: chris [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 09, 2004 10:22 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Generating a web application from a web service Beyond the capabilities of WSDL2Java .... ? what is your vision? /Chris -----Original Message----- From: Heitzeg, Bill [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 06, 2004 5:35 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Generating a web application from a web service Hi everyone, Does anyone know of a way to generate a simple web application using only a wsdl?
