Hi,
I have
the following problem and I would like to know if any of you have some previous
experience on this.
This
is not strictly related to Axis.
I have
succesfully installed Apache (2.0.xx) with OpenSSL and Tomcat (4.1.30) with the
Tomcat connector module.
Then,
I have deployed my Axis web service on Tomcat and I was able to reach it through
Apache (port 80)
Problems arise when I want to switch to SSL. Actually, I generate client
and server certificates using
OpenSSL (0.9.6). SSL works fine when I try to reach Tomcat through port
443 (by Apache) using a browser but my Java webservice
client
complains about the wrong format of the generated client
certificates.
I have
to say that using certficates generated by Sun Keytool (but not using Apache,
only Tomcat) I have managed to run the webservice
under
SSL.
I've
found on the Internet some articles about how to convert a OpenSSL generated
certificate into a JSSE keystore (i.e. http://mark.foster.cc/kb/openssl-keytool.html)
but my attempt was unsuccesfull.
Any
suggestion?
Thanks,
Luciano
