That's why I was hoping someone could share a piece of code -- there's a forest of possibilities, and I'd rather not bang my head on every tree when I know someone more knowledgeable has already determined a reliable, efficient means. I've tried a number of things including generating client code automatically, but the result was multiple classes that I didn't understand quickly enough to justify the time -- from my employer's perspective, anyway.
Anyway, that's where I'm at, and progress over the past week has been nil. For a related project I've had to start working w/ Visual Studio .NET so I can make a COM-based app available as a web service. I really don't want to get on that slippery slope, though. I want as much done in Java as possible, and need a little help.
Thanks, David Beahm

Simply use an unbounded array of string in the xml schema and it should work
fine. I have done it.
