I'd be happy to help out. I know Jörg is interested, as well, so,
please, let's hear from everyone before we jump into any kind of voting.

Guys,
I know you're not generally responsive to axkit-dev posts, but this is
pretty important as it has a cut-off date (31st Jan).
We need to nominate 1 or 2 persons to become a member of the XML PMC at
apache. What this means is someone who is willing to attend (via phone)
regular board meetings, and contribute to the general growth of the ASF.
It also means the person(s) becomes a security contact for any ASF
issues, though I imagine we'll be on top of any AxKit security issues a
lot sooner than any other part of the ASF.
Barrie on IRC suggested either myself or both myself and Kip as
nominees. I'm happy to do it, and if Kip is, then I'm happy for him to
join me. I'd also be quite happy to discuss other potential nominees
(though it's a fairly small pool to choose from).
I believe at last count the current axkit project members are:
Kip
Robin
Jörg
Barries
Myself
Since we're so small, we all need to be in on voting about this if
possible. And I'd rather have a short discussion beforehand if at all
possible too, so please reply, even if this bores you to death, so you
can at least say "yep, sounds good to me".
Matt.
