One bug which can be considered to be critical is the one behind http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bug.html?id=5724
AxKit won't work with other apps using libxml in the same Apache httpd because of the global callback handling in current CVS versions of XML::LibXML and XML::LibXSLT.
You already discussed the callback stack issue with Daniel and he added xmlPopInputCallbacks(). As it looks now, we "only" have to get one of the XML::LibXML maintainers to make use of it for the callback setting/unsetting mechanisms. Would that work out? I guess I have forgotten what xmlPopInputCallbacks() was about and why there did not come xmlPushInputCallbacks() along together with it.
