AxPoint question: plain line of text?

I don't see this in the docs or examples.  Is there a way to place a
plain (non-bulleted) line of text on a slide?  For example, if I want
to have a couple of short bullet lists on a slide, each preceded by
a descriptive caption:
    Slide Title

This is my first list:

o  Point 1
o  Point 2
This is my second list

o  Point 1
o  Point 2
o  Point 3
