Yeah, that's going to make things harder for you ;-) no doubt stuff has changed. I don't have panther yet myself. Has fink upgraded yet? I guess so.
Fink 0.6.0 is out but not in binary form, so i had to build a fresh bootstrap and build everything from source. Other the time involved, not a problem.
IIRC with jaguar everyone said to statically compile mod_perl in and not to use DSOs.
Hence my second attempt with a statically built apache, where all the symbol complaints are about Axkit. What parts of it might be dynamically linked and how can i rebuilt them so that they are no longer?
