Dylan - yes I see what you mean about dragging windows around - whilst my
idea works for most applications, there are some like the GIMP which don't
have much (or any) dead space.
And the window title thing.. I hadn't thought of it like that, that creates
quite an issue =/ Perhaps if the window title shown was limited to only the
application's name?

Omar - thanks, and yes I just saw a post on OMGUbuntu linking to that bug
report again, which is what reminded me about posting them here.

Matt - I like the idea, but Frederik's right that it wouldn't work cos of
how menus work. Also I think it could get a bit too confusing for the user,
and there would need to be a drag-release distance threshold in case they
dragged the window a tiny bit by accident.
