Dear Nancy,

"Dona" just means "Mrs" or "Miss".

Beijos.

Greetings Group,
While reading so many records from Sao Jorge I've noticed that occassionally
women have the title "Dona". I'm curious what it signifies. It isn't simply the
name Dona but a title of some sort.
Thank you,
Nancy Jean Baptiste
