Viewing 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the RYAN & ODETTE FUNERAL HOME, 1498 Dundas St. W., at Dufferin, Toronto. Joao is survived by: wife Natalia; sons and daughters Filomena Sousa (Daniel), Conceicao Oliveira (Joao), Alberta Melo (Lurdes), Tony Melo (Manuela), Frank Melo (Ana Da Silva); 8 grandchildren.
