I have a marriage of Lourenco Jose de Bettencourt and Dona Rosa Joaquina de
B.cort. It lists her parents a unknown and where it would give her address it
says, "apistente no lugar da Canada" I have not been able to figure out what
the "apistente" means. Lugar da Canada is the place name. Can anyone help?
