I checked in the Phenix Angrense and can only confrim what John has said. The only addition would be that when he landed in Terceira he was ill and that he was the guest of the Capitao Donatario Joao Vaz Cortereal because he had connections with his wife Maria Abarca. I have been told that to attempt making connection with the Aboins can be tricky unless completely clear. And that is my two cents worth! Good luck. In Genealogias da Ilha Terceira (Volume II) it says only that he was born in the mid 15th century and died in Terceira, that he was a minor nobleman and died after 11 Feb 1527. His first wife was Marinha Afonso de Azevedo.
