For those who have their genealogy on GeoCities, they will be closing "later
this year." For those of us with bookmarks to people's GeoCities web site,
we need to ask where they are moving to before we lose them. Here's the
article from Dick Eastman:

For those looking for a new service, a genealogist named John Cardinal has
Family History Hosting: http://www.familyhistoryhosting.com/ Dick Eastman
wrote about it last July:
http://blog.eogn.com/eastmans_online_genealogy/2008/07/family-history.html
or http://tinyurl.com/5hwb8y I met John on a genealogy cruise. He creates
add on software for my genealogy program (The Master Genealogist). I asked
if his software could add in a diacritic in a middle name, as in Manuel
José. It could not, but with the next update, he made it work! I know he
listens to suggestions.

Also, Mel Lassalle, webmaster of Island Routes (Portuguese Hawaiian
genealogy web site) may be able to offer her insights. Her email is
islandroutes at gmail dot com.
