Manuel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Rosa and his children, Esau (Fatima), and Manuel (Cathie), his grandchildren; Matthew, Christopher, Eric and Alexa. He will be sadly missed by his family in Hamilton, S. Miguel, Portugal and New Bedford, Mass. Manuel took pride in building "the best" of whatever he was building, be it sidewalks or his grandson's sandbox. The family wishes to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Arbour Creek Village. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Monday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
