I have a question re: researching the new records that are online. I had someone do some research a few years ago and almost all of my records show people were born in 'velas'. I have names dates & began looking but don't see any of my people there yet.
The site has it broken down for velas it is broken into freguesas: Only a few of my records show the freguesia, such as norte grande/ urzelina/rosais etc. How would I know which freguesia to check in if my old records don't carry that information. Here's an example of what I have - if anyone can guide me that would be great, thanks.
