Ermalinda King Silveira's obit is in the paper dated Feb. 11, 1935 on Page 2. He was already deceased, and it listed her address and surviving children including Rosa Daniels. You might also try Mt. Carmel Church. All the funerals were held there. I was able to get the section and plot number for my grandmother's burial in 1942 from the funeral home, so don't forget to check with them.
I searched for Rosa's obit, but no luck. I did however find one for one of her daughters who died at age 29 in 1945, so we know Rosa was still alive in 1945. Good luck. Daniels & Rose (Silva) Daniels Date: Wed, 1 Jul 2009 16:09:28 -0400 Thanks Judi and “E”, This information is great! I was able to find Manuel P. Daniel obit in the diario and it listed my wife’s great grandmother as living in Brooklyn. We didn’t know where in New York she had moved to so this is great. I have to track them down there now. I do have a question about Ermelinda and Manuel Silveira. Where did you get their information. I didn’t find an obit for her in Feb. 1935. I will contact St Johns’ cemetery for more information.
