Thanks all, for your prompt replies and advice. I am trying to get together this genealogy in advance of a trip to the Azores to take me dad to see where his ancestors are from. I think that just being there will provide a lot of personal insight into my ancestors.
I will look into Reunion, but since I already have Parallels running maybe I will look into a program for Windows, would the best be PAF? Again, I'm excited to be able to start doing this research and appreciate all of your help. Hopefully I will be able to get up to speed fairly quickly so that I can contribute something to this group other than questions!
