Hi Ronnie, The normal donation to have a Mass said in the parish where I attend is $10. So I think that any where in the $10-$20 range would be fine. I found that even not knowing anyone in the parish, my offer of a donation in memory of the person I searched led some priests to find the time to allow me to look at the records for the years that were not filmed or sent to the archives. Those would be the church records forward from about 1900.
