Dear Jroias, I recognize Manoel Arruda, but I dont recognize his wife. I dont know what to say, because I came up with his name in Desterro -Santa Catarina, Brasil, where his descendants came to settle. Her name wasnt mentioned on the baptism records. Her name I have as Maria Resendes from Sao Miguel Island both as parents of Jose Pereira da Costa.
