Their son Joaquim Antonio Brum Silveira born abt 1756 in Santo Antonio, Pico married Mariana Bernarda Bettencourt born Jul 21, 1745 in Castelo Branco, Faial. She is my 4th cousin 5 times removed. Pedro Rodrigues de Bem, son of Antonio Rodrigues de Bem and Catarina Ornelas shown above, also married a Catarina Ornelas and had a daughter who was Catarina Silveira she married Amaro Pereira Lacerda born abt 1625. He is my 1st cousin 10 times removed. These lines are still in process work as is all of my work, but my assumption is that my de Bem families all came from Pico.
