Shirley, Where does Bras Costa Loureiro b. 1682 m. Hermina Pimentel connected to your Joao da Costa Loureiro? Hermina carried Rick's and my Pimentel line down. My ggrandfather dropped the Pimentel and carried Furtado from his mother which I thought I always was or am, but now I see I should be a Loureiro or maybe de Sousa, Rodrigues or really Furtado as I go back further.
I can't believe that we can be carrying the female surnames and not the male surnames as Americans do. It's amazing to me.
