Wow! Thanks Manoel..i'll need some time to look through all this. Hopefully i DO find a connection here somewhere. Some of my ancestors way back (on both my mom and my dads side ) have the COSTA surname and are from the Vila Franca do Campo area. I have their names..but still no concrete dates.
