While on Family Search I found a document I hope will shed some light on
my elusive Bettencourt/Silva line from Graciosa, Azores. It's dated 1887,
Boston, MA. It lists:

Groom: Luiz De S. Bettencourt Father: Joao De S. Mother: Francesca.

Bride: Candida Augusta (no last name, or middle name put as Last name by
mistake. Silva is last name) Father:Adrias J. Mother: Joaquina C.

The birth dates differ from relatives' accounts, but the age difference is
the same; my g grandmother was 3 or 4 years older than my g grandfather.

Dare I hope this is the link I have been searching for, or should I hope
my local FHC will get a reader that will allow me to view my film? Any
advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Anne
