Looking again this morning I now agree with Margaret that the name is Ferreira. While the writing on the record in question is difficult to discern the capitol letters “F, P &T” I now see two things. The spelling of Ferreira has a double r where the spelling of Pereira has a single r. If you look on the left side of that page you will see the name of Bento Pereira at the top and see how the writer wrote Pereira as compared to Ferreira. I don’t know how many times I have had difficulty in reading those two names in records because of the way the writer wrote. I hope this settles the question for you.
