Hello Diane; Can't help wondering what area of Fremont you family lived in as I grew up in the Warm Springs district of Fremont. Back then, it is most likely that our families knew each other, although perhaps not as I think your family was there a bit earlier than mine. Prior to living there, my family came from the Milpitas/San Jose area by way of San Luis Obispo by way of the east coast and before that Santa Maria.
