Thanks for the reply, John. Lomba seems to be crawling with Mendonca's, which is the line I am tracing. I noticed that the records don't go back very far there, so I am not surprised that there might have been a fire. In the book I was referring to in the original post, it seems like maybe the pages were ripped out. Very sad...
