To those who have tested their DNA through Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) and received an email about a special promotion:
FTDNA has partnered with World Vital Records. World Vital Records is a subscription database of records, just like Ancestry is a subscription database. World Vital Records has nothing for Portugal, but they have other countries listed. I'm not currently researching any of my other non-Portuguese countries, so I don't know the extent or depth of World Vital Records. But if it interests you, you can check them out at http://www.worldvitalrecords.com/ I'm sure World Vital Records is offering a special promotion to their subscribers to test with FTDNA. So FTDNA reciprocated. Hope this answers a few questions!
