Hi Eliseu, My grandfather was Joao de Sousa da Silva. I don't have his exact birthday but he was born in 1900 in Graciosa. He came from a large family. Only my aunt is still alive & she doesn't remember all of the names but I remember his brother Antonio da Silva that lived in Peabody MA & Francisco Silva live in Providence, RI. I also remember my father talking about a Carlos & Manuel. Their parents were Manuel de Sousa Da Silva & Candida Isabel but I don't have any other details.
We might be from the same family since one of my father's brothers was Eliseu too. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
