Does any one have an idea of what happened to the Bandeiras records before 1850? I remember my Grandmother Virginia Garcia Serpa Bettencourt saying that the church had burned. She was born there in 1889. I think she said the church burned before she was born. I also do have a connection to the Valines from Piededad a Manoel Leal Mendes who ended up in Bandeiras.
