David, It says when he did his "Crisma/Confirmation" passou a chamar-se Antonio". At about the age of 12 years children are anointed by the bishop and reaffirm their faith. Everyone can choose a different name which in most cases remains symbolic, however in this case the priest is saying that Eleuterio from then on was called Antonio.
