They filmed all the church records in the Azores. These church records are great...Parents and where they are from; grandparents and where they are from...the newer records give the greats and where they are from. These census records were copied from the churches which were required to send copies to the gov't. I don't know if later records provided as much info as the earlier records. I can't remember where I got my church records...I think at the Mormon Library. i never had to write for records.
