Tyler, Oscar is a very unusal name for a Portuguese. I would go to the CCA Website, www.culturacores.azores.gov.pt/ig, and go to each village and check the baptisms for 1900 for an Oscar son of Francisco. There are not that many village in Sao Jorge to check out.
