I have a Jose Joseph Silva abt 1821, and wonder if your Jose da Silva
might be his son? My GGrandmother was his daughter...what relations or
information do you have on Jose and Francisca?

1. Manuel de Sousa Pimentel born at São Mateus, Graciosa. He
was married to Prudência Rosa do Coração de Jesus in 26 May 1845 at
São Mateus, Praia She was the daughter of Bartolomeu (Correia)
Picanço and Maria Joaquina de São Francisco. They had:
a. José de Sousa da Silva married to Francisca Carolina de
Bettencourt in 11 May 1868 at Sta. Cruz (my greatgrandparents)
