Martins ancestors (not all with the Martins surname)who came to Northern
California from Feteira, Faial and earlier from Rosias, Sao Jorge; Sao Mateus
and Piedade, Pico; and Se and Bicoutos, Terceira. It would be interesting to
compare trees.

He was from Ponta Delgada and died in Cambridge. That is the extent that
we know of, hence why I posted here to see if anyone knew about him or extended
