I don't see any link to your line. His full name is very different than your line with Pinto and Teixeira.
I don't see any connection to the Azores by the Conde de Amarante.

Interestingly, the Wikipedia entry mentions the British General Wellington and I think he's the one whose name is on a plaque on the building that my relatives own on the mainland, mentioning that he was stationed there at some point during the Napoleonic wars.
