The CCA tells me they have already had the idea to contact the Mormons in order to have the microfilms scanned for their purposes, but they are having trouble making contact.
I believe there are some LDS people on this list who might be able to facilitate the CCA making the right contacts to get this accomplished.
So if anyone knows the right contacts at the LDS and can send me their emails privately, I will pass on the information immediately to the right CCA people.

I asked the CCA why they haven't yet uploaded the rest of the records for Conceição, Horta and got this terrible news:The early baptisms and marriages records of Conceição, Horta, were not scanned because of its bad condition caused by the use of the ink ferrogálica, as we say in Portuguese. This ink destroyed the paper.I gave them the idea, in case they hadn't yet thought of it themselves, that they can scan the Mormon microfilms at least to have something online.So until they do something else about it, the earliest records for Conceição are only available on LDS film.
