See RR, c. 24 - 1: "4 - Domingos Vaz Vieira, da Achadinha que em 1629 justificou a sua filiação e ascendência, por onde provou ser o parente mais próximo de Maria da Costa (Cap.º 19.º § 1.º, N.º 3), instituidora de uma Capela de que este Domingos Vaz Vieira foi administrador. Nessa justificação diz ser filho da segunda mulher de seu pai, mas do testamento desta, Petronilha de Braga, se vê que ela não teve filhos. A mãe de Domingos Vaz Vieira foi, possivelmente Catarina Anes. Casou com Águeda Rodrigues (Notas N.º 2 e 4)".
