I am trying to find the marriage of the parents of Barbara Correia. The marriage record below shows on line 12 her father's name as Andre Tsixya (I believe is Teixeira) and her mother is Maria Correia. This record also states that Manuel de Sousa and Barbara Correia are from the parish of Sao Sebastiao. http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-PD-SAOSEBASTIAO-C-1 708-1724/SMG-PD-SAOSEBASTIAO-C-1708-1724_item1/P7.html Right side After much searching I found the following baptism in 1671. Fathers name is given as Andre Rodrigues and mother as Maria Correia. I did find the death of Barbara in 1754 and her age was given as 60 years more or less which makes this date off by 13 years. If anyone can figure the date out on this record it would help. Is seems all scrambled up the record before is 9 Jun 1661 and the record after is 11 Jul 1661. http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-PD-SAOSEBASTIAO-C-1 650-1677/SMG-PD-SAOSEBASTIAO-C-1650-1677_item1/P63.html Upper right side After much searching of the records I found no other Maria Correia married to and Andre other than Andre Rodrigues (and what I believe is Andre Teixeira in the first record above). I still need to look for any siblings in the baptisms which will be time consuming but perhaps necessary. Three of the four names of Barbara's parents are consistent (Andre and Maria Correia) I am about to write of the marriage record from 1709 as a onetime mistake in writing Teixeira, any thoughts on this?
