Fred, I think the word after Francisco Pereira is Sapateiro (shoemaker) can’t makek out the grooms dad. I though Marquez but the first three letters look like Mim so that isn’t it!

There are two issues related to his marriage record. First, what is the word after his name (could it be a military rank?) and second, what is the last name of his father? The following shows him as a Cappitão-mor but I'm not sure it's my Francisco since the record doesn't mention his wife and there's a "d'Amaral" after Pereira. I do know he died before 1710 since he was listed as deceased at his son's wedding and I can't find another Francisco Perreira in the Sao Sebastiao death records online.
