Hi Shirley, To answer your question, the Teves/Teve that I have all come from Ajuda Bretanha. John provided me with the birthdate of Teresa de Teves who was married to Matias Benevides. Teresa's parents were Andre Teves and Leonor de Sousa. I estimate that their birthdates were in the 1640's range. I think Andre could descend from Simao de Teves who settled in the Bretanha area a few generations before. But that is just a theory :)
