Repost for Nancy Pinksaw, npinksaw at gmail.com

My husbands's maternal grandfather was, Manuel Perry Dutra and lived on
Turner Road.
We think his wife's maiden name was, Roche.
They had two children, Manuel Perry Dutra Jr., he was know to family and
friends as Babe.
His sister was , Mary Francis Dutra.
The Sr. Dutra's, were from Faial.
After my husband's, Tete Babe died, his daughter had given us a paper, that
a relative gave him.
It was all about the Dutra's discovering Faial.
There is a plaque on The Duta's church there.
Spelling of the surname was differeny but Dutra evolved from it.
