Repost for Carl Albuquerque, csalbie at gmail.com My Grandfather was born in Gourda (SP?) Portugal in the late 1800s. He came to America in the early 20th century. He passed away, I think, in the 1980s or 1990s. He moved to Ponta Delgada in the late 1970s, after my grandmother died in 1977.
I believe my grandfather passed away in 1980. His birth year was 1896 or 1897. I appreciate any help you can give.
