Yes they married 9 July 1849 Bernardino was the widower of Escolastica Maria do Espirito Santo who I believe were both from Matriz (Nossa senhora da Estrella, Ribeira Grande. . Eufigenia Julia was the daughter of Joaquim Jose de Araujo and Claudina Rosa (deceased) who were from Nossa Senhora da Conceicao, Ribeiro Grande
