I'm not sure what planet the I.T. department is from or how they ever make it out of that office alive, but here's the latest from them:

However, I don't have time to got through 800+ pages to see who used diacritics and which trees display properly and which don't. So if you have your tree up, please let me know if you are getting boxes or other strange things where the diacritic should be. Send me your kit number, and how you saved the Gedcom (ANSEL or ANSI format - if you remember). I'll compile a list and let IT know they still don't quite have it right yet. <sigh> Thanks!
