Hi Helen, I am interested in communicating with you about your Cunha from Graciosa. I have a great-grandfather John Joseph Sylvia who emigrated from Graciosa. I have some well-founded indications that his name may have been John da Cunha before leaving the islands. Do you have more information on his extended family? Where did your father settle in the states?
