Manita - For access to some of these resources one often has to go to a 
library (old skool - i know).
Now that you have some tips from John, search for the title in  WorldCat to 
see where it might be held. The Family history Library in Salt Lake for 
instance holds many books which would be of interest to you.
I'm not sure of the resources in Canada.
