Hi! i've been researching into my family history and found that i'm a direct descendant of Sebastião Fernandes Borges, son of Francisco Lucas who when he died he had no funeral ceremonies because he was so poor. My name is Luís Carlos Borges, son of Francisco Xavier Borges and grandson of Firmino Coelho Borges, and acording to a geneology book writen by mr. Forjaz, this side of my family have been born and died in Altares up until me, except for one that lived in Rio de Janeiro. I found this discussion when i was trying to find more about the first known members of my family that are recorded. Sorry for my bad english, its my second language.
