hi all, Can anyone provide information on this name/family?
Luis Antonio da Costa Morisson signed as a witness to the marriage of one of my 4xGGP's on Terceira in 1813, and I'm very curious as to what the connection could possibly have been. I know there were English and American merchants and their families in the islands during this period, but the references I've checked (Familias Faialenses and the book by Francis M. Rogers) don't include the name. If anyone can suggest other potential leads, I'd appreciate it too.
